Years ago, map reading was something we enjoyed in school. Looking to find the points of interest on a map was exciting as a young lad, but that has now been replaced with GPS systems and other portable navigation systems. Right now, we are at the crossroads of this technology and as it becomes more widely accepted more people want to find out even more about it. Most people associate this new way of map reading just with a car, hiking, or just jogging, but if the truth was known, it has many applications that go much deeper than that. Most people do not realize all the uses that this technology really has. One such is the use of it on ATV’s or all-terrain vehicles, as they are known by the masses. More and more people ride ATV’s than ever before and are a perfect use for this type of unit. Read further to discover even more on how it can benefit you the rider.

So how does these small powerhouse little gizmos do it you wonder. It really is simple actually, as 31 satellites are down above the earth circling it and these electronic devices get a fixed on them to pinpoint your exact location.
