Tour the United States with the Uniden Trax430 GPS Navigation System

You’ve heard of the U.S. Open, the World Cup, and well, the Olympics, haven’t you? Sure you have! And what do all of these events have in common? They all involve their participants playing in or touring different parts of the country or world. Would you like to have a piece of that action? Who wouldn’t! But the prospect of traveling anywhere can sometimes be intimidating if you’ve never been there and don’t know exactly how you’ll get around. This is where the Uniden Trax430 GPS navigation system comes in handy. With it, you never have to worry about how you’ll get around because it was created specifically to take your hand and guide you anywhere you want to go in the country. Ready for your tour? Let’s get started!

Feast Your Eyes on the Touchscreen

To begin the tour, we will start by looking at the large 4.3-inch touchscreen, which comes as a standard feature with the Uniden Trax430 GPS navigation system. If you’re not already aware, this screen size is larger than a typical device’s size, which is 3.5 inches. This means, you get to see even more of each map that you pull up. And of course, when text directions show up on the screen, you are able to read them more easily than on the more typical unit.

Navigating is Easier than Ever

So of course, the main reason that you want to get your hands on the Uniden Trax430 GPS navigation system is to be able to easily and effectively travel from one destination to another – whether those destinations are around your city, or around the country. You’ll be happy to know that because this unit offers not only turn-by-turn voice prompted instruction, but also text-to-speech technology, you can find any location on your “tour de US” without the threat of ever getting lost.

For instance, say you are taking a trip from St. Louis to Chicago. You know from traveling from city to city in the past that a large part of your journey will be spent on one or two highways that are relatively easy to follow. However, when you reach the big city and try to reach your hotel, which is located somewhere on or near the Magnificent Mile, you realize that navigating there will be a little bit more complicated. But where you would normally pull out your map or directions printed from Mapquest and begin the difficult juggling act of reading your directions and watching the road, with the Uniden Trax430 GPS navigation system, you would simply keep your eyes on the road and wait for the unit to broadcast “Turn left onto State Street in 500 feet.” You never have to worry about getting lost with this unit, which makes navigating anywhere on your tour easier than ever.

Where Am I Now?

Sometimes, on a journey from one location to another, you wonder where in the world are you located on a map. However, even if you find a road exit that you can pinpoint on a paper map, you still don’t have the luxury of seeing yourself move along the roads. The desire to locate yourself with real-time accuracy ends with this unit that can give you your coordinates on a map and represent itself with a small dot that is your vehicle. By taking advantage of this feature, you have the change see your travels on a larger stage, which can make your tour that much more exciting.

Fast Processing

There may come a time that you may need to pull up a map very quickly to get yourself out of an unsatisfactory neighborhood or back to civilization from what seems to be the wilderness. However, because some units don’t come with a fast processor, loading maps can seem to take forever. The Uniden Trax430 GPS navigation system takes care of this by including a 400MHz processor that allows you to pull up maps and guided instruction in lightening speeds. So if you ever find that you’re on the verge of being lost, you can count on this device to get you out of the jam and back on your tour in no time flat.

While your tour of the Uniden Trax430 GPS navigation system is coming to an end, your tour around the country is just about to begin. So don’t be left out of the fun. Let this unit and all of its great features guide you through an exciting and adventurous journey to your destination. That way, you can say that the Uniden Trax430 GPS navigation system was there for you during one of the most exploratory trips of your life.

Learn the Benefits of Navigon GPS Systems

There are many global positioning systems on the market today that have a variety of functions, including mapping, tracking and navigation. The navigation systems are especially popular because they provide a great deal of assistance to the everyday individual who gets turned around easily while out on the road. Many devices are known for their high quality features, while others are attractive to the eyes. However, Navigon GPS systems are able to accomplish both, being a great asset to customers around the country.

About Navigon

The company began working on advancements in navigation since it started in 1991. Now it is known as an industry leader with a handful of very high-quality, reliable products on the market. They are known for creating the world’s first dynamic personal GPS system in 1996, along with the first software for navigation that worked with the Pocket PC in 2000. Even more, in 2002, they created the first Traffic Message Channel-based (TMC) avoidance feature that could be found on portable units in 2002.

But possibly, the most popular of all products created to work with Navigon GPS systems is the award-winning MobileNavigator™ that directs PNDs, SmartPhones, and in-dash systems with software that delivers information on destinations in an easy to use format.

Products

There are three main Navigon GPS systems on the market right now: the 2100, 5100 and 7100. Each one has unique features that can appeal to any person looking for a unit, so let’s look at each one to see which one might appeal to you.

2100 – This unit is the most inexpensive of the three, costing on average $250. It is very attractive to look at and has the same basic features of the other two – but of course, with not quite as much to offer. It has an easy-to-read 3.5” screen and a 3D Reality View feature that lets you see the roads from all angles. It also offers text-to-speech technology so that you can have audible turn-by-turn directions without having to look at the screen. There are optional features that can come with the 2100, such as Lifetime Traffic, and Zagat Ratings and Reviews, so if you want to upgrade without spending too much, you have options.

5100 – One of these Navigon GPS systems costs a little bit more, averaging $500. It still has the 3.5” screen, but has a more attractive interface. And it offers a few extras that make it more beneficial than the 2100. For example, in addition to the 3D Reality View, you get Lane Assist, complimentary Lifetime Traffic that works “plug and play,” exclusive Zagat Ratings and Reviews features, intuitive menus, and both 2D and 3D maps.

7100 – Of course I’m saving the best for last. The 7100 comes in at a whopping 650 bucks, but for this price, you actually get a lot. It is even more attractive than the other two in appearance, with a very sleek design. But even better is what they have to offer on the inside. This device has all of the features listed for the 5100, plus voice guidance and spoken street names with advanced text-to-speech technology, a larger screen (4.3 inches), a 16:9 widescreen format, and Bluetooth capabilities so that you can make calls.
