Most companies forget about the hunters, but now Lowrance. This model has so many things on it and at a fair price that hunters should love this new GPS unit. Does it perform though? This also allows for you to play MP3 files with an optional MP3 upgrade kit that you can purchase.

You will be able to mark 2,000 waypoints/1,000 event markers as well as 100 routes. In total, it has 42 graphic icons and 17 hunting specific icons to make it much easier for you. You can mark where you seen prey or place that you have had success with. No more worrying or guessing where good hunting spots are.

It has a very fast processor to process the information as well as a backlight for night viewing so you do not scare away any prey during those long hunting trips. It uses 2AA batteries and only weighs 8.7 ounces. It quickly accesses satellites and has a built-in continental USA maps as well. This is a nice added feature as well for hunters who may want to check out other areas of the country that they travel to. The features are virtually endless and since it was designed by hunters you know they made sure everything was included in it.

This is a solid performer for the money and will give you many years of trouble free service. Sure there might be others hunting GPS units out there, but you would be very hard pressed to find a model that has everything this one does.
