GPSMAP440s is an ideal GPS device for boaters and water enthusiasts. This device comes with preloaded detailed maps of the US coast including Alaska, Hawaii, and the Bahamas. You can view crystal clear images on the 4” color display in any lighting conditions. This device features 1500 way points and is capable of storing 20 routes.
The tracklog feature automatically creates and stores a record of 10000 tracklog points of the path traveled and these can be easily used for reference later. You can also store trip history and map database on a SD memory card. The trip computer informs you of the sun and moon positions as well as sunrise and sunset time. Man overboard (MOB) is an added safety feature for people involved in boating and other marine activities. An internal antenna adds to the compactness of this device.
This GPS device comes with a powerful dual frequency or dual beam transducer that clearly shows depth contours, fish targets and structure. You can also know port plans, wrecks, restricted areas and tide and current information easily through its user-friendly interface.
