The Garmin GPSMAP 276C is a portable GPS navigator ideal for land or water. This GPS device features a 3.8 diagonal, 256 color TFT screen with adjustable backlight that is easy to read in bright sunlight.
The GPS device can give you turn-by-turn voice prompted directions and the auto routing feature can plot out the route once you feed in your desired destination. The device can also be programmed with your own data cards that contain MapSource BlueChart with details of lakes and fishing hot spots. The device also includes a CDI (Course Deviation Indicator), an advanced navigation tool that is useful in aircrafts but also applicable in marine environment. The CDI indicates if your boat has veered off course and also shows you the correct course.
The built-in basemap features major highways and interstate in America and Europe. The device can store up to 3000 user waypoints with 50 reversible routes for finding your way back to where you begun from.
